API Tracing

Mockgee offers advanced API tracing capabilities, allowing users to scrutinize request and response headers, payload, and status codes. This feature is designed to facilitate troubleshooting and debugging processes, providing comprehensive insights into the API interactions for enhanced efficiency.

To utilize API tracing in Mockgee, follow these steps from the Mockgee UI page:

1. Navigate to the desired project.
2. Within the project, identify the specific endpoint for which you want to enable API tracing.
3. Click on the three-dotted options menu associated with the chosen endpoint.
4. From the menu, select "HTTP req/res trace."
5. In the subsequent options, locate and enable the tracing feature.

By following these steps, you can initiate API tracing for the specified endpoint, gaining detailed insights into request and response headers, payload, and status codes to aid in troubleshooting and debugging.
